Thomas Struth

Thomas Struth (*1954) studied painting with Gerhard Richter and Peter Kleeman from 1973-1976 and photography with Bernd Becher at the Düsseldorf Art Academy from 1976 on. He took part in 1990 at the Venice Biennale and in 1992 at Documenta IX.

Together with Candida Höfer, Thomas Ruff, Axel Hütte and Andreas Gursky, he is one of the most important representatives of the Düsseldorf photography school. His independent work has been exhibited internationally at all major museums such as the Guggenheim Bilbao or Metropolitain Museum New York.

The IKS PHOTO collection includes three editions and the portfolio "Paradise 2004" with six works.
